I work
I'm Raelinn Doty, CTA. My work is creating experiences for travelers who want more than a highlight reel: real time with the people, the foods, and the history of a place. Two decades of experience in food, wine, travel, and finance shape how I plan a trip, and it shows in the details. What we build together isn't a checklist. It's rooted in respectful exploration and honest exchange with the communities you visit.
The relationships make the difference. Local guides, chefs, winemakers, and hoteliers I've known for years, many of them now good friends, are the backbone of every trip I plan. My specialization stays close to the Mediterranean: Italy, France, Spain, Greece, Croatia, Portugal, and Morocco, with additional depth in Australia, Hawai'i, and The Bahamas. I'm dedicated to journeys built on authenticity, not spectacle. But with my deep professional network through Virtuoso and highly-vetted partnerships, I can help you go anywhere in the world to discover whatever is calling you.

My own passion for exploration drives me to create experiences that are both enriching and transformative. With a background in travel, food & beverage, and hospitality, I use my lived expertise to create moments that are as meaningful as they are memorable. My travels have taken me to 26 countries (including living in France, Italy, and Morocco), deepening my perspective and commitment to culturally respectful travel.
Think of me as your personal travel "designer". I ensure that your experiences are a harmonious blend of people, places, and purpose. By carefully crafting each itinerary based on your needs and desires, I draw on my extensive background and deep relationships (cultivated over decades) to create inspired adventures that resonate with your unique travel style.
The focus of my travel offerings is on what I love most and what I'm best at doing---fully-customized travel for women, individuals, couples, families and small groups, centered on working with small businesses (women-owned when possible) so we can all have a positive impact on the communities we visit and the lives of the people we meet. And it's my great desire to make the world a more beautiful place through positive changes in the way we see the world through respectful, intentional travel design.

My main areas of specialization include most Mediterranean countries. But I have partnerships all over the world. I'm a Certified Specialist by the tourism boards of Italy, Spain and Greece along with Australia, Bahamas and Hawai'i.
I have earned the CTA designation.

Some of my favorite experiences are sailing on the Ionian Sea or the Adriatic off the coast of Croatia, savoring wine and culinary delights in Italy, Portugal and Spain, and plunging myself into immersive cultural experiences like camel trekking in the Moroccan Sahara with the Amazigh or spending the day with the Sami in Norway or the Inuit in Iceland.
